GrowFX (5 User Corporate License)

GrowFX is a plug-in for Autodesk 3ds Max, allowing you to build plants and other objects, which grow in various directions.
GrowFX lets you create broadleaf trees, conifers, palm trees, flowers and many other vegetational compositions. Its unique model building tools will help you create creeping plants, entwining scene objects, and shearing plants of any shape. Plants may bend around different objects.
GrowFX is fully compatible with 3ds Max. All parameters can be animated. You can, for example, create a wind animation, plant growth animation and other kinds of animation you can imagine. There is also an opportunity to edit the parameters using MAXScript.
Creating grass or woodland

Once you created an object, GrowFX lets you build a single plant or a group of plants of the same kind by their corresponding distribution:
- by specified starting points;
- on the surface of an object.
If you choose the second method - distribution on the surface, the values of some parameters can be adjusted by the texture maps, for example, the density of plants or their growth.
Creating ivy
The direction modifier labeled Object reaction direction will let you create any ivy plant by using the path reaction (Reflection / Magnetic) on the other objects of the scene. Additionally, you can use "Reflection" to create plants twining around different objects, or plants, placed into enclosed space.
Creating shearing plants
The direction modifier named Object slice direction will let you create clipped plants of different shapes. In doing so, you can use standard shapes from the Exlevel category of objects, including plane, box, sphere, as well as use the shape of any geometric object of the scene.
Animation
You can animate almost all parameters and create any plant animation, such as growth, wind and others. Use the Affects feature to make specific parameters influence others. This will free you from unnecessary configuration of animation. For example, you can create the dependence of branch length from the height of the stem, and dependence of the length and width of leaves from the length of branches. When you animate the height of the stem, you can create a full-blown animation of the plant growth.
Speed viewport
Use View line only to display models as lines in viewport. You can also use this option for paths, which generate many lines. Set the View percent value to the smallest possible, for example, 5%.
